We provide a wide range of travel vaccines and travel health advice to our patients. If you are planning a trip, we advise you book in with the GP for a travel health consultation, ideally at least 6 to 8 weeks before you travel, to discuss what vaccines you may need for your trip. When you call to book your appointment, let the Receptionist know you are looking for a travel health consultation and she will ask you what countries and areas you are travelling to so the correct information can be advised to you.
Our Practice Nurse will then contact you by telephone to discuss the exact areas and countries you plan to travel to. Following this call, your travel vaccines can be ordered for you and an appointment made for a full Travel Health consultation.
Your travel health consultation will be one of our GPs, followed by an appointment immediately after that with our Practice Nurse who will administer the appropriate vaccines .
