Dr. Alex McVey MB, BCh, BAO, MRCSI, DCH, DRCOG, MIGCP
Principal Doctor

Dr. McVey graduated from UCD in 2003, completed internship in Sligo and Dublin followed by surgical training in Galway.  He worked with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) as a tutor and lecturer and continued his clinical training in Temple Street Hospital and the Mater Hospital after which he undertook the four year specialist General Practice training which included, general medicine, cardiology, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and two years working as a General Practitioner.  Dr. McVey is involved with medical undergraduate training with RCSI and welcomes medical students to the practice on an ongoing basis.

Dr. Marie Fox MB BAO BCH FRNZCGP

Practice Doctor

Dr. Marie Fox graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2003.  She completed her internships in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and AMNCH Tallaght. Following a year working in paediatrics and emergency medicine in Letterkenny General Hospital, Marie moved to New Zealand where she gained experience working in rural hospital settings.  From 2005 – 2009, Dr. Fox worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Medicine and General Surgery

Marie entered the Canterbury GP training scheme in 2009 and attained a fellowship in General Practice in 2012. She worked in Auckland from 2012 to 2017 in a General Practice. Marie has broad interests in General Practice including paediatrics and women’s health (LARC placement).

Sinéad Ní Mháille is the Practice Manager and is responsible for the administrative management of the practice and for ensuring a high-quality experience for all our patients.
