Sirona Medical was formerly named St Anthony’s Medical Clinic. The practice, first opened by Dr. Paul McVey in 1976, has operated at 185 New Cabra Road since the year 2000, when it was fully refurbished as a professional medical clinic. The practice is now owned by Principal GP Dr. Alex McVey. Dr Marie Fox joined the practice in 2018 and became a partner in 2022. We were joined by Dr Alison Poff GP Registrar in July 2022. Our Practice Nurses are Nurse Jemma O’Connor, Nurse Julienne Spain and Nurse Ana Culloty.
Reception is staffed by Myra Malone, Sue Lawlor and Mary Healy, while the Administration office includes Maria Temple and Sinéad Ní Mháille, Practice Manager.
The building at 185 was once a small nursing home, before that a Turf Accountants, and originally a private house built in the 1930’s. It has been fully refurbished to provide a bright, modern and welcoming medical practice.
