Sirona Medical is a GP practice on the New Cabra Road, Dublin 7. We offer a full range of primary healthcare services to patients in Dublin 7, Dublin 15 and nearby areas, including general medical care, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Children’s health and vaccinations, family planning, antenatal and postnatal care, travel vaccines and health screening.
We have both male and female doctors available for appointments, and together with our practice nurse, they offer a wide range of medical services. We provide care to private, Medical Card, Doctor Visit Card (including Under 6’s), Garda Medical Aid and health insurance patients.
Sirona Medical was formerly named St Anthony’s Medical Clinic. The practice, first opened by Dr. Paul McVey in 1976, has operated at 185 New Cabra Road since the year 2000, when it was fully refurbished as a professional medical clinic. The practice is now owned by Principal GP Dr. Alex McVey. Dr Marie Fox joined the practice in 2018 and became a partner in 2022. We were joined by Dr Liza Patindol GP Registrar in July 2022. Our Practice Nurses areNurse Julienne Spain and Nurse Ana Culloty.
Reception is staffed by Sue Lawlor, Mary Healy and Louise Woods, while the Administration office includes Maria Temple and Sinéad Ní Mháille, Practice Manager.
The building at 185 was once a small nursing home, before that a Turf Accountants, and originally a private house built in the 1930’s. It has been fully refurbished to provide a bright, modern and welcoming medical practice.

Our clinical staff are highly qualified and experienced GP’s and nurses, with significant vocational training and a commitment to updating their knowledge and skills through continuing medical education. We also contribute to clinical training of new doctors, through affiliations with Royal College of Surgeons education programmes.
